Juan Carlos Babón Molina was born in Valladolid in 1993. He studied Chemistry at the University of Valladolid in 2014, he joined Alfonso Encabo’s group as an undergraduate student. He got a Master Degree in Organic Chemistry at the Complutense University of Madrid in 2016, during his studies in Madrid he joined the Medical and Biological Translational Chemistry under the supervision of Ruth Pérez. In 2016 he joined Miguel Ángel Esteruelas’ Group as a Ph. D. Student. His main research interest is centered on synthesis of new polyhydride osmium complexes.
