Lara Cancela Cancela was born in Pontevedra in 1994. In 2016, she finished her studies in Chemistry at University of Santiago de Compostela. In 2017 she got the Master’s Degree in “chemical research and chemical industry” at University of Santiago de Compostela, working with the professors José Manuel Vila Abad and Mª Teresa Pereira Lorenzo. She moved to Zaragoza and started her Ph. D. at Prof. Esteruelas group in 2017 focusing on the synthesis of iridium complexes.
