Sheila G. Curto was born in Valladolid in 1991.While she was completing her Chemistry Degree she was able to contact different investigation groups as an undergraduate student. In 2012 she was with the group of computational chemistry of professor Antonio Largo, the following year (2013) she was able to take part in the group of mass spectrometry from the University of Valladolid and finally in 2014 she reached the group leaded by Pablo Espinet. She gained the degree in Chemistry at the University of Valladolid in July 2014. She obtained her PhD in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Miguel A. Esteruelas and Dr. Montserrat Oliván at the University of Zaragoza. She returned as a researcher at University of Zaragoza-CSIC. Her main research interest is centered on the synthesis of iridium complexes, their reactivity and applications in catalysis.
