Dr. Susana Izquierdo was born in Escatrón (Zaragoza) and studied Chemistry at the University of Zaragoza. She obtained her PhD in 2014 under the supervision of Prof. Miguel A. Esteruelas and Dr. María Luisa Buil at the same university. As postdoc, she worked at ICIQ for three years under the supervision of Dr. Alexandr Shafir. Since September 2018, she returned as a researcher at University of Zaragoza-CSIC. Her main research interests are organometallic chemistry and the application of organometallic compounds in homogeneous catalysis.
