Dr. Verónica Conejo Rodríguez was born in Valladolid (Spain) in 1992. She graduated in Chemistry (2014) at the University of Valladolid (UVa), where she completed her MSc in Synthetic and Industrial Chemistry, one year later. In 2015, Dr. Verónica joined the research group of Liquid Crystals and New Materials at CINQUIMA Institute (CLiNuMat-UVa), through a FPI-MINECO fellowship from the Spanish Government to conduct her doctoral studies. In 2019, he obtained her PhD under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Pablo Espinet, working on polymetallic systems with optoelectronic, mesogenic and conductivity properties. During this time, she gained further training though a short-stay in the Institute of Physics and Chemistry of Materials (IPCMS-CNRS) at the University of Strasbourg (France) under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bertrand Donnio.
In July 2020, she moved to the University of Zaragoza (Unizar) as postdoctoral fellow with Prof. Dr. Miguel A. Esteruelas, where she is currently working on the study and development of organometallics compounds for OLEDs applications.
